I don't get Paxley's deal AT ALL. Complete garbage. Putting her up against Choo, who I guess they are trying to shake something new out of with Rosemary, is tying an anchor to an anchor.
at first I thought she was just another of the 6,217 Lydia-from-Beetlejuice, Nightmare Before Christmas backpack, Hot Topic 2005, post-Daffney Goth Girl gimmicks but it turns out that actually she is a kooky six years old and it sucks. get the feeling if you took that on the road away from the performance artists that make up the warehouse crowd, it might die a death just like Choo did in Denver. this whole thing is wack, and I like Wendy, I like Rosemary, and I can see how I would like Paxley (she's got talent!) but the way they've drawn that character is atrocious. Lyra Valkyria reacting like she's been sent back a grade in middle school is kinda funny, at least.
I really think Lola's face turn has hurt her a lot. Stripped away all of her personality and made her have to ACT. I'm so glad they aren't doing the same thing to Jaida.
Completely agree. She had some good momentum and has totally lost it, and to double down on the bad idea, they've got her interacting with the similarly flat Kelani Jordan after basically scrapping the brief idea to put her with the nine year old who loves Beetlejuice
The template for Guilia should be Asuka, who despite the gaudy undefeated streak was never really out there steamrolling her opponents; she was booked as an elite, versatile competitor who could outwrestle, outbrawl, or outsmart any opponent.
