Time for this month’s Classic Review! I know, I’m excited, too.

The first in a grand lineage of SupersBrawl. This is an all-time “comfort” show for me, because I bought it probably around ‘96 on used VHS from a video rental place in Portage, Mich., when I was visiting family. This and Survivor Series ‘92, same day, and both shows have a similar spot in my heart. Being all open, there has been no shortage of rough days that SuperBrawl ‘91 or Survivor Series ‘92 helped me get through as something to sort of mindlessly stare at for a few hours.

That Turner Home Entertainment release cut the whole thing down to about two hours, even though it was absolutely normal to release commercial tapes longer than two hours, so I actually never saw the full show until WWE Network launched in 2014. But this is the full show, with those spectacular extra 40 minutes intact.
