It’s the first ECW One Night Stand, which somewhat improbably stands as the best of the 6,714 ECW reunion shows that everyone has done over the two decades of ECW reunion shows. It may seem likely that a WWE-sanctioned and produced version would be the best, due to the money, but having it be the most authentic is odd simply because it’s rare for WWE to give something this sort of freedom and not overwhelm it with their own stuff.
Maybe that spoils the end result, so I’ll just be clear: This is a great wrestling show. Now you can give me money if you actually read anything but the end part.
